Fire sliding doors are the most common and most cost-effective type of fire door. Due to their simplicity and operational reliability, they are very often used both in industrial buildings and in public buildings. Their simplest version is the non-motorised version, where the door is held in the open position by a magnet and closes only in the event of a fire alarm, and is otherwise not used for normal closing and separation of two spaces.
