Fire doors are used in places where sliding doors cannot be used for space reasons. This solution is technically more complex and therefore more costly. They are characterised by their space-saving design on the sides of the fire door and their reliability. Their simplest variant is the non-motorised version, where the door is held in the open position by a magnet and closes only in the event of a fire alarm, and is otherwise not used for normal closing and separation of two spaces.
Fire resistance EW15 to EW90, EI15 to EI90
Fire resistance classification made according to EN 13501 - 2 as amended.
Composed of multiple 300 mm to 1100 mm wide elements (slats) per door leaf. The individual elements are connected to the door leaf by a special connecting system. The thickness of the door leaf is 62 mm. The surface of the slats consists of a 0.75 mm thick galvanised steel sheet. The steel plate and the fire protection filling are fully glued together. The driveway profile and the labyrinth profile are galvanised. Everything can be supplied in RAL finish.
The door leaf is guided in profiles mounted on the sides of the door opening. The counterweight is mounted on the wall next to the guide profiles.
The door is held in the open position by a 24 V holding magnet, the uniform closing speed is ensured by an electromagnetic speed controller, the end position is secured by an end bumper. Balancing of the door leaf by means of counterweights.
As standard, the door is operated by means of a manual handle. For all doors we recommend operation by hand chain.
