Mobile gate system for protecting entrances, doorways, windows or passageways from water ingress from floods or torrential rains. Your effective individual property protection.
The location and size of the barrier is always decided individually according to the customer's needs. Even seemingly complex penetrations can be solved with this system.
This system does not require a structurally demanding substructure. The basis of installation is only the installation of the fixed elements - the lateral guides on the sides of the protected opening. If necessary, mobile elements are inserted between them - the gates, which are compressed by pressure. As a rule, the opening is protected from impending water within a few minutes.
The INOVA Al mobile flood barrier has been tested and subsequently certified for water penetration resistance and mechanical resistance.
The lateral line consists of a special aluminium U-profile with a vertically inserted EPDM rubber seal. It is a permanently embedded element on the sides of the protected opening. There are several placement options. At the time the system is dismantled, special covers are applied to the grooves of the side guides to protect this part but also to improve the overall appearance of the opening.
The basis of the barrier is profiled aluminium gates, which have excellent mechanical properties at low weight. They are sandwiched between individual posts or side rails. A special bottom gate is always installed first, which also has a microporous threshold seal capable of compensating for larger irregularities of up to 15 mm. The length of the gate is chosen according to the required load and ease of handling (approx. 1 - 4 m).
Aluminium posts are used when protecting larger openings. When installing lateral lines, it is necessary to install an anchor foot or stainless steel threaded sleeves with a blanking screw into the floor, to which the mobile element - the post - is then attached and which is pressed against the floor via a sealing profile.PressurisationIn order to achieve maximum tightness of the barrier, the inserted gates are compressed by pressurising them by inserting them into the groove of the post or lateral line and then tightening them. When installing lateral lines, it is necessary to build an anchor foot into the floor or stainless steel threaded bushings with a blanking screw, to which the mobile element - the column - is then attached and which is pressed against the floor via a sealing profile.
In order to achieve maximum tightness of the railing, the inserted gates are compressed by means of clamps which are installed by inserting them into the groove of the column or lateral guide and then tightening them. There are several types of clamps available for both posts and laterals, including a lockable version to prevent unwanted removal.
